How it works
How does signing in work?
You enter your e-mail address, and Funnelforms sends you a 6-digit code. It is valid for 15 minutes, and you have five tries per code. An address gets at most five codes per hour. The page always says the same, whether an account exists for the address or not. If you are new, Funnelforms creates your account at the first sign-in. You stay signed in for 14 days, until you click Sign out. Use a different email starts over.
What does "Your licenses" show?
A card for every license with the heading Funnelforms Pro · … and the name of the plan. Next to it:
- the status: Active, Trial, Payment due, Canceled, Expired, Suspended, Pending or Paused,
- the term: Lifetime, Renews on … or Valid until …,
- the websites in use, for example "2 of 5 websites used", with the sentence "Test and staging sites do not count.",
- the list of connected websites, staging websites marked Staging, each with the button Disconnect.
Below are Buy a license, Subscription and invoices and the card Add license key.
What happens when I disconnect in the account?
The website loses its place in the license. At its next daily check it notices this and then counts as not connected in WordPress. Its forms keep running. If very many websites of a license were disconnected in the last 30 days already, Funnelforms refuses further disconnects; support can help then. Staging websites do not count here.
What is an activation code?
A code for websites where you cannot or do not want to sign in in the browser, for example when you set up many websites as an agency. It connects websites to exactly this license. Funnelforms shows it only once. A new code replaces the previous one; the old one then stops working.
What does "Add license key" do?
It brings a license into your account that belongs to no account yet, for example your license from Funnelforms 3. Afterwards you see it under Your licenses and can manage it. If the license already belongs to another account, support can help.
How does buying work?
Under Choose a license you find the plans, split into yearly and monthly. Each plan shows the price per month, the billing ("billed yearly: …" or "billed monthly, cancel any month"), "plus VAT" where it applies, and how many websites it allows. You pay at Stripe. If you buy while connecting a website, you come back to the choice of license afterwards.
What does the customer portal show?
Subscription and invoices opens the Stripe customer portal. There you change your subscription and payment method and find your invoices. The button appears once you have bought through Stripe.
What does "Switch subscription" mean?
If a license still runs on the old payment system of Funnelforms, it says "Your license still runs on our old payment system. Switch to Stripe now: you only pay when your paid time runs out." With Switch subscription you pick a plan and set up the new subscription at Stripe.
What happens on the page "Connect website"?
When you start connecting in WordPress, the account shows "This website wants to connect to your account:" with the name and address of the website. Under Which license? you pick a license; each shows how many websites are still free, or full. Connect sends you back to WordPress, and so does Cancel, without a connection. If all licenses are full, you see the websites in use with Disconnect and the button More websites. If you have no active license, Buy a license leads to buying. If Funnelforms recognises the address as a test or staging site, the page says that it does not use a slot.
In which language does the account appear?
In German or English, depending on the language of your browser at the first sign-in. For Spanish, French and Italian it appears in English for now.
Can I download Funnelforms Pro in the account?
Not yet. A download of the ZIP file in the Funnelforms account does not exist at the moment. This feature is currently in progress.
Best Practices
- Always sign in with the same e-mail address. Licenses belong to the account of that address.
- Copy a new activation code right away and keep it safe. It connects websites to your license.
- Disconnect websites you no longer use, so that their place becomes free.
- On shared computers, sign out with Sign out.
Troubleshooting

| "All websites of this license are in use. …" | The license has no free place. | Disconnect a website or click More websites. |
| A license key is not accepted (message in German) | The key or code is wrong, or the license belongs to another account. | Check what you entered. If the license belongs to another account, contact support. |
| "Buying is not available right now. …" | Buying is switched off at the moment. | Try again later. |
| Subscription and invoices is missing | You have not bought through Stripe yet. | Buy a license or switch your subscription with Switch subscription. |
